Danish Eddie 3The Costume Designers just announced their nominations for Best Costumes of 2015. And does it surprise anyone that Paco Delgado received a nod for his sumptuous period design of Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander’s dazzling Danish outfits in “The Danish Girl”? Was there ever a film that displayed its’ costumes, dresses to suits so importantly, to the script, as “The Danish Girl” a film about male-to-female transgender transition in the 1920s?

Legendary British designer Sandy Powell was nominated TWICE for “Carol” and for “Cinderella.” She already has won two Oscars in the past.
